Technical Architect, Oracle EPM

Remote / Full-time

You are the technical architect on our Oracle EPM work. You design how each implementation fits together, make the calls that decide whether it performs, and stay accountable for the build from first design through go-live. The role spans the Cloud EPM suite, including Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Profitability and Cost Management, Account Reconciliation, Tax Reporting, and Narrative Reporting.

You sit between the finance teams who use these systems and the people who build them. You turn what a client needs into an architecture that holds up, set the standards the build follows, and step in when something is hard to design or harder to fix. As our work moves further into AI and automation, you shape how those capabilities land inside the EPM stack.

Much of the build happens with our development center in Cebu City, Philippines. You will lead a team of high-capability offshore engineers, and making them better is a real part of the job, not an afterthought. You teach them, mentor them, and build the kind of trust that holds across distance and time zones. You own the strength of that team as much as you own the architecture.

What you will do

• Design the architecture for each Oracle EPM implementation and own it through go-live.
• Make the technical decisions that determine performance, data integrity, and how well the build scales.
• Configure and lead the build across the Cloud EPM modules in scope.
• Lead and mentor the high-capability engineers in our Cebu City development center, teaching as you go and building real camaraderie across the team.
• Translate finance and accounting requirements into a technical design that holds up.
• Set the standards the delivery team builds to, and guide them through the hard problems.
• Keep the architecture and configuration documented well enough that others can run it.
• Shape how AI and automation fit into the EPM stack.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of hands-on Oracle EPM or Hyperion architecture, administration, and development.
• Deep knowledge of the Cloud EPM modules, including Planning, FCCS, PCM, and ARCS.
• A techno-functional background that pairs technical depth with real finance and accounting understanding.
• A track record of leading the technical side of EPM implementations and upgrades.
• Proven ability to work with and lead high-capability offshore engineers, with the patience and skill to teach and mentor across time zones.
• Experience guiding developers and setting the standards a build follows.
• Clear thinking and clear writing. You can take a complex design and make it simple.
• A real interest in AI and how it applies to EPM. Prior AI experience is not required, but the drive to master it is.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
